The Web Part Toolkit offers five of the most powerful SharePoint tools that free can buy.  These tools are designed to give you a powerful insight to the inner workings of your web part pages, web parts, and the SharePoint server itself.

The following tools are available:

The toolkit was originally shipped in the SharePoint® Products and Technologies Resource Kit.  The version including in the resource kit is v1.5.0.0.

This toolkit is released as-is.  Use at your own risk. This is NOT for WSS/MOSS 2007 or MSF/MSS 2010!  This is only for SharePoint 2003.

These tools were designed for developers and administrators.  Most of the tools have been in use for several years and are very reliable (Inspector and Spex are over 3 years old, the Analyzer is just over a year old, and the GhostHunter is baby at only 4 months old!).  However, it's important to note that tools are very powerful and, therefore, any option to change or otherwise delete data is an opportunity to permanently lose data.  Have fun, but be sure to wear your selt belt.  :)
